I’ve never seen snow.
I’ve spent my whole life in a small corner of the world where the seasons arrive quietly rain, sun, more rain, and the familiar green that never really leaves. Snow has always been something that existed only in movies, photographs, and stories from people far away.
Recently, a friend who moved abroad sent me a video. Snow was falling outside their window, slowly and silently. Nothing dramatic happened in the clip, yet I watched it several times.
It made me wonder what does it actually feel like to see snow falling for the first time?
Is it the kind of thing that takes your breath away? Do you stand there for a moment, forgetting everything else, watching tiny pieces of the sky drift down to earth? Or does it become ordinary after a while, just another kind of weather?
For me, snow remains a distant curiosity a small experience I’ve never had, despite living on the same planet as those who see it every winter. Strange how a simple video can remind you how big the world is, and how many things are still waiting to be experienced.
Maybe one day I’ll stand outside and watch real snow fall from the sky. Until then, this is the only snow I have : Its Snowy ↗
